Once again... can't understand my decision to be with Discovery

<p>It's quite simple... my wife's recent pregancy and associated complications, which resulted in the death of our baby, have left us financially destitute.</p> <p> </p> <p>- Dr Paul Partridge (Gynea Morningside Mediclinic) to whom we were referred: All consultations and scans came out of our medical savings account</p> <p> </p> <p>- NIPS blood tests to be sent abroad for chromosome analysis: This depleted our medical savings account</p> <p> </p> <p>- 2 Consultations (code 3617) with Prof Ermos Nicolaou (Wits Maternal & Fetal Medicine Centre): Baby diagnosed with Hydrops Fetalis: Total R4800 paid in cash</p> <p> </p> <p>Now on top of the cremation costs etc, Discovery refuses to pay for any of our maternal consultations (code 3617) of which my plan (Classic Delta Saver) is supposed to cover, due to the fact these leading industry specialists are not part of the Discovery netywork???!!! Do yourselves a favour Discovery, go and ask ANY of your female employees that have had a complicated pregnancy if they have heard of Prof Nicolaou.... he is the most notable expert in his field and you will need to forgive me for wanting to try and save our childs life!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>Who the F is actually the preferred Fetal specialist covered by Discovery then????? Do we have to visit sub-standard professionals in order to claim from Discovery????</p> <p> </p> <p>Your call centre agent sent me a PMB application form, which is not structured to accomodate my request.</p> <p> </p> <p>You have a chance to rectify this before I publicize this story with relentless vigour.</p> <p> </p>
