NOT PROVIDING T&C IN PLAIN LANGUAGE

We joined Discovery a year ago, and in the acceptance letter we were told that we would be covered for a number of conditions after a waiting period of a year.Now, after a year, they are rejecting claims for those conditions.They are telling us that once we have paid for a year, we have to apply for the condition, and we will be covered if it is approved on the benefit list.Who would join a medical aid for very specific conditions, and pay for a whole year with no claims , so that there is absolutely no cover after 12 months? Who can we speak to to receive a refund of premiums paid?
