NOT Discovery rather select a different medical aid!!!!!!!!

FAIR WARNING ⚠️ TO ANYONE EVEN CONSIDERING DISCOVERY OR PR-AUTHORIZATION BE VERY CAREFUL!!!!!!! ⚠️ ⚠️

Please be carefully when considering Discovery and ensure that you communicate in writing as the people whonphone you have contradicting statments telephonically!

Authorization before hand means nothing to Discovery, to date I have not sighed any "cancellation / suspended documentation and as per discovery my medical aid is suspended but Authorization was receieved for a medical procedure Authorization number : ***8

Now after the procedure and Authorization was recieved Discovery is refusing to pay the hospitalization and the procedure and ironnky now my medical aid an Withdrawal took place withou my consent or signature and Discovery send me an sms and an automated email advising I owe them R6228.00 and must be paid!

Authentication was recieved 17 May 2023 for the procedure 30 June 2023 @ Midstream Mediclinic.

22 June spoke to an agent Chane *** also attempted to contact me afterwards and she confirmed the procedure will be covered 100% and she will confirm on email!

Be very cautious about Discovery and considerate when selecting Discovery as a medical aid!
