non supply of medicine

My son was prescribed medicine by our gp who until dec 2014 also dispensed the medicine. The gp notified discovery in Nov 2014 that they would stop this as of Dec 2014 . When I went to get the medicine the chemist could not supply as discovery said that the gp must dispense which they no longer do. My gp did help me but discovery are *********** .
