This claim has still not been paid even though I had to send the claim directly to the person (Heelan) who called to resolve my matter.

Post the above, I have sent the claim 3 times!

healthinfo@discovery keeps responding regarding a previous claim.

Its obvious there's incompetance even in your customer service dept.

So Im spelling it out : IT IS THE CLAIM FOR R1700... i will not resend the documents - go look at all my emails and open the attachments.

You sent feedback by email of a claims transaction history attachment. No explanation, no apology. What must I do with this attachment? If you were trying to prove something like you paid the claim, it doesnt. What it does prove is that you still have not paid our claim because the R1700 isnt reflected on the statement.

The incompetancy is unbearable!

I received another email saying that "that the claim for Cure Day Clinic for R 1 700.00 has not been processed as we have not received a completed invoice for the claim. On the information received there is no procedure code or ICD-10 code specifying what the amount of R 1 700.00 is. We need an invoice with the date of service, procedure code and ICD-10 code reflecting on the invoice in order for this to be processed."

The fact that you are only explaining this now is extremely annoying.

Further, this is the invoice we received from the clinic. How are we supposed to know about what codes must reflect on the invoice???

Why dont you call the clinic and obtain the information or correct invoice?
