No words for such bad service

My son, adult, full payment member on my insurance went to the Dr as he was concerned abt a lesion that was painful. The Dr admitted him urgently to hospital to have it removed. Discovery made an error by grouping his room consult & hospital fees all under room consult. I queried and was asked to send paperwork, including histology. Duly sent. I got a call and email saying now the entire claim was rejected as histology said not cancerous. There is an authorisation code and hospital & pathologists have already been paid by scheme. What now? I've been with Discovery on coastal core for about 12 years, if not more. Where am I to find R8000? I pay Discovery R2000 per month. What would you have paid if it was cancerous? All the procedures and follow ups for that? I'm seriously disappointed and let down. I have always said I'm so happy with my Discovery cover and been a strong advocate in their favour. Are there new rules? What's the point? How do I query this effectively without being given the run around? Very disappointed. A scheme it appears to be indeed. Dont call me unless it's to advise a course of action to rectify this.
