NO TREATMENT FOR MY 3 YEAR OLD SON?

My son was admitted on the 27th of September with septacimia through casualty, an authorisation number was given, fast forward to the next day I get told that the new authorisation number for his extended length of stay, medication and the procedure he is meant to have has been declined due to him not being on the medical aid for a year, however I had put him on and discovery kicked him off, discovery kicked my 2 year old son off of medical aid because i didnt declare that he was not talking at the age of 2 nor did i declare that he had skin tags which i didnt think would be a problem only when i took him for a check up did my GP want to send him to a specialist, but that is besides the point, he was given a 12 month waiting period for speech disorders and neoplasm of the skin. He was admitted with a authorisation number into Roseacres hospital on the 27th of September with septicemia (last i saw this is on ypur PMB list discovery) this is a life threatening condition! On the 28th of September you decided to decline the authorisation that he was already given for his medicine and his procedure because he has been excluded from the PMB list for 12 months? No where on our agreement with waiting periods did it say he will be excluded from the PMB list? Case manager resubmitted documents for it to come back pending because it takes 8 working hours to make a decision... yes people 8 working hours to decide if you are willing to treat a 3 year old with a life threatening condition? He was meant to have surgery at 6pm last night but because of the pathetic service you strive for i got to spend another night in hospital watching my child suffer, worrying if you would be willing to cover the costs when I pay my medical aid every month? My son was also admitted to this exact hospital in December 2021 with covid and was treated with no issues but let me guess you have an excuse for that too?

I expect this to be sorted out, your service and the way of dealing with things has been absolutely shocking!!

I wish I could add pictures so you could actually see just how bad this is!! I would be more than willing to email you!!!
