No such thing as client care

<p>Discovery's thresh hold for specialists is ridiculous The average price of a neurologist is between R 850 and R 1 100 per visit. However Discovery allocates R 541. That is unacceptable especially if you have chronic conditions. What's worse is that the difference comes out of the client's pocket, not even from the savings. What is the point of a medical aid then? If I don't go to the neurologist then I cannot get my medication scrip, if I don't get the script I cannot get my medication, if I don't take my medication I can end up in hospital. Discovery will end up paying a lot more then. I have chronic conditions (epilepsy and high blood pressure) not a joke that one should ignore. Absolutely shocking attitude from Discovery!!! When I sent in the query I received an email advising the reference number and that someone will get back to me within 72 hours. Its been a week and I am still waiting.</p> <p> </p>
