NO response to my e-mail below

My mum is a 58 year old unemployed lady.

She joined Discovery Health in May 2013 with a premium of about R700.00 (At this stage it was not brought to her attention by the agent that she would need to provide income verification documents each year)

In 2014, her premiums were raised slightly (again, it was not required that she provide verification documents of her income).

In 2015, her premiums doubled. The e-mail notification for this increase was never received. She would have obviously comp**** because she cannot afford the premium of R1990.00

Having regard to the circumstances of the member we kindly request for a refund, even if it is a gesture of goodwill. Due to this extreme increase in her premiums she was unable to make payment of her last two premiums.

I was told by Serina, that if it was 6 months into the year a refund was possible but if a refund is done at this stage it Discovery will be more closely audited and she would like to avoid that. We are only a month and a half over.

Please consider my request.
