No response from Discovery and my newborns claims

Good day,<br> <br> I gave birth on the 15th January 2015. I was admitted for pre-term labour and then gave birth 2 days later. My understanding is that my newborn son would be covered by Discovery until the 31st January 2015. I have since registered him as a member as from 1 February 2015. As my son was premature, he has claims for both the pediatrician and Pathcare. Some of these claims have been rejected, the reason provided by Discovery being that he was not a member at the time. Can you please let me know why these claims were not paid as this is not in line with the policy details as per the Discovery website. I emailed an enquiry last week to Discovery about this and I have yet to receive a response on this. The providers in question are Copperfield Childcare (Hedi van der Watt) and Pathcare (Drs Dietrich, Voigt Mia & Partners)
