No refund from Discovery Medical Aid due to an ICD10 code

I went for a Gluteal Tendon Repair, left hip, at Life Hilton Hospital on 13 March 2026. I was discharged on 14 March 2026 and had to be transferred, by ambulance which I paid for, to Hilldrop Stepdown Facility in Newcastle. Note that the distance is 250km apart, so I couldn't WALK on crutches to the Stepdown Facility. It is now Saturday, 9th of May 2026, and I am still battling to get a refund from Discovery Medical Aid for the ambulance that I have paid. Their reason, the wrong ICD10 code are being used. Why can't they just tell me or the service provider what the correct ICD10 must be?? We have been clients of Discovery Medical Aid for the past 30+ years and this is how we get treated???
