No payment from discovery

<p>My mom was recently in hospital which we have discovery medical aid.</p> <p>when she was released we started seen statements from discovery for us to pay the ammounts with a reason code of 338 (we have not paid this amount because you need to get a refrence number from us before you visit a specialist)</p> <p>as she was already admitted to hospital and was most worried about her health how was she to phone discovery to get a refrence number.</p> <p>how is it that discovery would not even pay although we have been paying for years.</p> <p>i currently pay her medical aid as she is not able to afford it.</p> <p>i see this as been totally uncalled for and puting a strain on us knowing that we we pay every month a fee.</p> <p>i am currently already paying for 5 people on discovery every month.</p> <p>Discovery please try and rectify this issue.</p>
