No Money No Cover.

On 31 July, I was abducted by gunmen with semi-automatics. The flow of all my monies was stopped, and one payment to Discovery Health 'got jammed'. Discovery immediately suspended my health cover, no questions asked: 'You currently do not have cover.' They since apologised for that.

However, even after they had been fully apprised of the situation, they continued the suspension -- while they themselves put a spanner in the works of manual payment. After I had succeeded in making the payment, then they called me up -- a recorded call -- and said no money, no cover, it's as simple as that.

I said 'insurance' is about being 'sure'. If one gets in a strait, one wants to know that one's insurance holds. This could have been very serious, and no cover, due to no fault of my own. As best I can see, Discovery's behaviour should ring alarm bells for its members.

Would Discovery kindly respond to me personally at ********** I was unable to read their previous response.
