NO FEEDBACK

My GP Dr Kotze informed me that she has been removed from the Keycare service providers list as from the end of November 2015. to date I have not been informed of this happening by Discovery the reason Discovery gave her ie that she does not have the required Keycare patients of 150 and the that the requirement to dispense meds. I thought that drs need a license to do this, how many drs in Welkom fit the bill?
the questions I ask are:
WHY MUST I CHANGE MY DR WHO HAS BEEN TREATING ME FOR THE 12 YEARS?
DISCOVRY YOUR ACTION BORDERS ON BEING BUROCRATIC.
WHY ARE WE AS MEMBERS NOT CONSULTED IN THIS MATTER IT IS NOT DEMOCRATIC
P.J.A. NEUHOFF
MEMBER *** SINCE 1996
Hello Pietpraat,

Thank you for your comment.

In an attempt to ensure that our KeyCare members continue to receive quality healthcare at an affordable price, we have launched a new process in order to identify doctors that do not meet the requirements to remain on the KeyCare Network. These practices consult with more patients on plans other than KeyCare which increases the risk of incorrect processes being followed. Since KeyCare is a very complex plan, we aim to allocate selected doctors to the network.

We've confirmed that you have been contacted and your queries discussed. We're sorry that we were unable to provide you with a more favourable outcome.

Regards
Annelize
