No delivery of promises

<p>Had enough savings in our Discovery account to cover a small test (radiology) asked for by the ENT (around R1000). Discovery repudiated the claim on a stupid technicality so I phoned them (time-consuming) around 10 Nov 2016 (or soon thereafter). They promised to pay it (please Discovery if you read this by all means listen to the recorded tel conversation). On 9 Dec (almost a month later) I got a surprise sms from the radiologists (Bloch and partners) stating Discovery had not, in fact, paid up as promised! Well, I'm now out of medical "savings" for the year (thinking this had been paid). Nasty surprise. All I ask is that Discovery does what they promised - pay! I DID try phoning Discovery this afternoon and asked them to call me back if we got cut off and they confirmed my tel number - but after 20 minutes of talking to them indeed I got cut off (and no one has bothered yet to call me back after half an hour). So herewith my complaint. </p>
