No Communication - Risk of Loosing my Job

It is with great frustration that I need to echo rather unpleasant sentiments about Discovery.

I joined the fund in 2015 and now resigned from the fund to be a dependent on my husband's medical aid. Bearing in mind this is a discovery to discovery move.

On January 2020 we app**** for me to be added as a dependent. No communication was received from discovery until we made contact in February 2020. Wanting to know the status of our application. We were then advised that there was outstanding information about my health history.

Last week after numerous phone calls to your team, we were taken from pillar to post only to be advised that I cant do an upgrade from the plan I resigned from. Firstly I am no longer a member of discovery, I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW I AM BEING PENALIZED AND ADVISED AFTER A FULL MONTH OF APPLICATION ABOUT THIS. Secondly I am in trouble at work because I am by company policy bound to having medical aid. I now do not have medical aid and face possible dismissal if I do not produce a membership certificate in 24 hours.

I am planning my wedding and don't have the capacity to be dealing with this amount of stress. This is really a disgrace and such an inconvenience both to my personal, health and work life.

I am thoroughly disappointed as you have now contributed to me possibly loosing my job.
