No communication

I was registered on PMB August 25th 2023 for a pulmonary embolism. My medication was approved for 12 months. I have received it for 4 months without any co-payment. This month there was a co-payment . I called multiple times to query why there was a co-payment . ***) (***) (***) with no feedback today I calll and get told my approval has changed and now Discovery does not pay up to 100% the limit is now R430. Number 1 the cheapest generic for that drug is R900 number 2 there was no correspondence sent to state there were any changes made (***)

My job deals with medical aid approvals and I always encourage patients to switch to discovery for better benefits, I will never encourage anyone else to move to discovery after this diabolical experience
