No care or consideration for their customers

My parents have been on discovery medical aid for years now. My mother recently got sick and had to be admitted in hospital. Discovery says there’s a co payment for a test in hospital. But if she does it outside of the hospital, at a doctor’s rooms, there’s no co payment. Does this make sense to you? If someone is sick enough that they need a test in hospital, discovery says ***** you, because they’re getting *****ed over with the doctor’s fees I assume. And instead of trying to manage those hospital rates, they have decided to let their sick, loyal customers suffer. But if they weren’t in hospital and just wanted to do random tests and make discovery pay for it, sure. Heck, I could get my doctor friend to say I needed a test at a doctors room and get them to pay for it. Why not. Apparently that’s not only allowed, it’s advised. I am already looking at switching them to another medical aid.
