No Breast Sonars
So frustrated with Discovery Health. I am 30 years old and I have a lump in my breast. My doctor recommended I go for a breast sonar. Discovery Health only covers mammograms and not breast sonars as part of the screening and prevention benefit. Radiologists refuse to do a mammogram on someone of 30 without a sonar first. How am I supposed to get a diagnosis if my medical aid does not cover the costs for a basic screening scan?
