NIPT test trauma

Discovery went out of their way to NOT assist me! I was sent for a NIPT test by my gynae for my 2nd pregnancy. The lab couldn’t run the blood work until I got an authorisation number from Discovery. They claimed they will only grant me this number if I meet their qualifying criteria! They couldn’t tell me what this entails. Their service has been ********** and strongly recommend if someone is reading this, you do not have Discovery as a medical aid. They have let me down terribly and they do not honour their “maternity basket of benefits”. All lies.
