My Requests Not Being Actioned By Discovery Health Staff

I recently resigned from my job. I called Discovery Health a week or so before I done so to ask how do I start paying for the medical aid on my own after I resign, as my employer was contributing to my monthly premiums. They told me to: 1. Fill out some form (income verification) 2. Send them a 3-month statement and 3. an affidavit I called again the week after that and for once (praise Jesus) the discovery staff was consistent as they had told me the same thing.

On the 26th of September, I sent all those documents to discovery. On the 28th of September, I got an email with the Certificate of Membership detailing how much is going to be debited from my account on the 1st of October, I was stunned because the amount was still the same as the amount I was paying when I was employed.

Since I had no response for four days I decided to call discovery (with my airtime) on Friday of the 29th and queries. I told the call centre agent the situation and she went back at found the documents I sent on the system. She then told me that the information I had given on the affidavit was insufficient. I then went to the police station (again) to get a new affidavit. I sent it that very same day of the 29th. I called again discovery (with my airtime) later on in that day to plead and beg the employees to action that request the young lady told me to hold on whilst she hands it over to the relevant department I was then placed on hold for 30 minutes (YES 30 MINUTES! I can send you the screenshot to prove it)

Yesterday on the 3rd discovery sent me an email asking me for a 3 month statement (remember, I have sent it twice already) and I graciously sent it. Today I was up and discovery health has debited my account with the same amount that it had been debiting when I was employed and it has left my account in minus. It's clear to me that discovery employees are not doing their jobs. I sent the documents in time. It shouldn't be my problem your processes take so long. I cannot be continiously calling and emailing discovery for them to help me with ONE thing, just one. It's actually pathetic how a big company like discovery could be so ***********. I am not going to waste anymore of my time and money calling of emailing this company and don't ask me to fill out no form either.
