my emergency is not on their list of emergencies

<p>So 1 month I am on discovery medical aid and I needed to be admitted..but unfortunately discover has their own list of emergencies...so my understanding is I don't have a waiting period but shud I need an operation it needs to be invested as to why because I am 1 month on medical aid..according to a manager he said they can't give certain operations in case after they operate on me then I discontinue..so at least give them 9 months of my premiums first then they can approve without investigating well that was my understanding..no waiting periods apply only to certain procedures..not according to what the GP things is reason to admit..6 business to 8 business hours for approval and those humans at the call center repeat it as per there training guides.does a person camp outside the hospital...#and if they don't approve u..you are 6 to 8 hours stress free..mayb that's what discovery thinks...government seems hassle free..hectic!</p>
