MSA payments not allowed

<p>Recently had a operation which was covered by Oncology. However there is a shorfall on the payment for the anaethetist. As I have accumulated savings from prior years, I assumed these funds could be used to cover the shortfall. Apparently this is not the case according to the first person I dealt with. Next person said they would process claim again and see if they could get it paid in full. She also sent me a MSA claim form in case I needed to claim for shortfall. I then received an email that claim submission had still resulted in shortfall and I must go a head and submit MSA claim form. After submitting form, received email stating that scheme rules do not allow for coverage from MSA? what are my savings supposed to be used for? and why does everyone have a different answer?</p>
