Ms Rosanna Kinloch of Discovery Medical Aid requires clients to be fortune tellers and medical experts.

Targeted by Rosanna Kinloch of Discovery Health Services. Ms Kinloch in her infinite wisdom deems that I were to predict and should have known that my infant's diagnoses of flu could be due to an underlying issues with addenoids. She all but outright accused me of de*****ing Discovery Medical Aid by not disclosing my child previously had a flu. Despite a letter from my ENT who set out exactly the diagnoses and treatment, Ms Kinloch expected me to forsee a diagnosis and disclose to Discovery when signing up, even though the form only mentions chronic illnesses !!! She then decided that tonsils will be excluded even though my child has never had an issue with tonsils. She threatened that I would be kicked off of the medical aid for my "non-disclosure". Beside all of the above, when she called, she interrogated me as to whether my child was my biological child and why I had returned back to South Africa after living abroad for a year. I don't see what this has to do with my applicaton and disclosure. After escalating the issue, I received another letter from Discovery stating my child now has an exclusion for 1.Respiratory tract infection and 2. Disease caused by bacterial/viral infections. I am appalled at the service of Discovery Medical Aid, they quick to sell us medical aid and then treat us like ********s. To Ms Kinloch, I would like to ask her to exercise some care in how she deals with paying clients and furthermore, try to use some logic on how patients are supposed to forsee potential chronic illnesses arising after joining the medical aid. To date I havent received acknowledgment from Discovery despite writing to them formally.
