More Poor Service from Discovery Health
My daughter recently turned 21 years old and I had to unfortunately remove her from my medical aid as I could not afford the additional levy of R3500 as an adult.<br> <br> I have tried for the last month to find her an affordable Medical Aid as she is unemployed and one of the options Discovery Health suggested was the KeyCare Plan, for R760 per month.<br> She is currently on chronic medication and I have inquired what percentage Discovery would pay as the medication is almost R900 per month.<br> If the percentage was low, I would then rather consider taking a more expensive plan to cater for the medication.<br> <br> Unfortunately Discovery has not been very forthcoming with the information and have just decided to ignore any of my requests and the medical brokers requests.<br> <br> Right now I am not sure if they are hiding some information to trap me on a ****py plan.

As discussed I confirmed that on the KeyCare plus plan should a members application for the Chronic Illness Benefit be approved we will cover the approved medicine on the formulary. The medication will be covered up to the maximum of the Discovery Health Medication Rate (DHMR). Non-formulary drugs are not covered.
