**Money paid into incorrect account**
I changed my banking details with Discovery over a month ago and they paid my claim into my incorrect account. I do not have enough money now to pay my anesthetist due to their incompetence. I am really disappointed.

03 Mar 2015, 12:23Hello Mags221,
Thank you for your comment.
I investigated your query and confirmed that we pay claims to members if there is a shortfall on the claim or if we do not have the providers banking details. We do rely on members to keep us informed should they change their banking details. There are two separate banking details for collection of premiums and for payments of claims to members. We allow this to provide flexibility to members should they wish to have two different banking details recorded as well as security against ********** activity relating to payment of claims.
You changed your banking details for premium collection but not the claims payment banking details. Members must complete a form or change these banking details via our website. I sent an email to you with further feedback to on your query. Should you require any further assistance you may contact us directly.
I am sorry that I could not provide you with a different outcome to your query.
Kind regards
Jashvir
