Money over Ethics
I am a vitality active member and wanted to join normal vitality where a promotion is currently running, whereby if you join now the first 3 months are free. Upon calling I was told because I am a member of vitality active I could not receive this benefit, this to me is an example of false advertising and a misrepresentation of information. These are 2 different products and 2 very different price points with a very different set of benefits. How can I be told because I was a Vitality member before that I am not eligible to receive this benefit. I hate how Discovery constantly uses fine print and hidden rules and narratives to continuously make money off it, with each of its clients with the various products they offer. I find the advertising ********* and the logic for a new member as unwarranted and would appreciate if this could be reviewed.
