Money more important than your well being

I fully understand that the world revolves around money, but when money becomes more important than the well being of people during this worldwide pandemic then you need to ask yourself are you with the correct medical aid. I phoned in April explaining that I am self employed and won't generate an income for the lockdown period and won't be able to make the payments on the medical aid. I asked is there any form of payment plan going forward as i don't expect not to pay for my medical but would be prepared to make up the payments once the economy is open, I was even prepared to pay interest on those payments. 2 months down the line got an SMS stating medical aid cancelled just like that, not is there anything we can assist with or do you still want to carry on with the medical aid, kicked to the curb just like that and I have a baby and a small child that I need to keep safe during this pandemic healthwise but hey that's not Discovery's worry because we don't care about people we only care about money. I have being a member for 11 years and never once missed when the times were good but now that the times are bad you are kicked to the curb in a heartbeat. During this pandemic one can see who the service providers are that you can count on and those that you can't and unfortunately Discovery is on the wrong side of that equation and that is very disappointing.
