Money making scheme , not a medical helping aid !

Discovery for a 22 year old who has a chronic illness feels like an absolute **** ! Discovery rarely pays what are documented what they should pay, their monthly installment compared to the savings to receive are a joke. And when I canceled my plan in September because I physically cannot afford monthly installments plus all the other medical bills I need to pay out of my pocket , that Discovery refuses to cover - they still billed me a R1000 because I didn't cancel end of the year. Discovery is not a medical helping aid, it's a money making scheme. Scheme's like discovery forces people to take a health risk by not having medical aid. I would never ever go back and I'd forever advise others to any other medical aid.
