Money is more important than patients

My husband has been in hospital since the 6th of February 2015, first in Robinson Hospital and then Garden City Clinic. On the 2nd of April 2015 he was moved from Garden City to Kensington Rehab as Discovery Health has decided that he can no longer stay at Garden City because of the costs. On the 21st of April 2015 he had to be re-admitted to Garden City ICU because his health has deteriorated so much at Kensington Rehab. On Monday the 25th of May 2015 my husband was once again moved on the insistence of Discovery Health to Circle Link rehab because of the costs. He was placed in a ward that was ice cold, with just a bed and side cabinet. A doctor at the rehab said to me he was dumped by Discovery Health at the rehab to die. I have fetched him from the rehab and he is at home at present. Discovery Health has allocated a care giver to help for the next 2 weeks only. They were willing to pay for the rehab indefinitely but is only willing to pay for a care giver for 2 weeks. Discovery Health has no compassion for their members.
