Misleading

I recently joined Discovery Medical Aid and I choose the Keycare Plus plan. My membership was approved the 2nd of November 2024. Me thinking everything is smooth, I then went to Clicks Pharmacy to collect my chronic medication only to find out that the scheme does not cover it, and this happened twice. I then requested a callback from scheme to understand what is going on, and the agent said that i was on a 12-month waiting list under category B, meaning the scheme will only pay claims for my chronic condition. After submitting the two claims the scheme still did not pay those claims to date. 27 December 2024, I was called by an agent named, Olona who transferred me to another agent named Ofentse who tried helping me to claim and escalated the matter and gave me a turnaround time of 48 hours, till today, I was not called. I then went on the website to log a query around January 2025 and I was called the following day. The agent told me that I had to visit my GP to fill in a form to state that I am on chronic medication however apon joining the scheme I was told that I should go to my GP and request that. Also, I had to pay out of my pocket for that GP visit as the scheme would not pay for it. My GP submitted the form that the scheme requested. I then got an email from the scheme confirming that they have approved all of my chronic medication. However, when I got to Clicks Pharmacy, the pharmacist told me that the medical scheme will only pay half on my medication and I had to do a co-payment which amounted to R1197, and this is nearly the same amount that is being deducted monthly from account. I am truly disappointed with all the false information and not being transparent. I feel like I am being ****med.
