Misleading Advertising

Discovery advertises that members on a Vitality Premium plan can qualify for a fully funded Oura Ring 4 or up to 25% off the price if they meet the stated requirements - which clearly say you can qualify if you “are the main member, spouse, adult or child dependant aged 18 years or older on a Vitality Premium plan, and a primary or secondary cardholder on a Discovery Bank Suite or Discovery Bank credit card account in good standing.”

Yet when you actually try to access the benefit, you’re told it’s not available and that only dependants qualify - even Discovery’s own online agent admitted that multiple bullet points in their chatbot and website information were wrong. My family and I who are all on the vitality premium plan have even confirmed this over the phone with Discovery, who said it’s limited to dependents only.

This is misleading, confusing, and borders on false advertising. Discovery should not promote benefits that sound accessible to members. Transparency matters.
