Very bad experience with discovery iv been on this medical aid since 2017 iv changed plans a few times but have been a constant payer for years Im on key care start n recently needed to see specialist I currently have specialist funds iv nva used this option before after calling discovery was told my procedure will b fully covered with network doctors and hospitals I only require authorisation code fast forward to trying to get this approved I cannot get the code because this procedure is covered by the medical aid but the typ of specialist needed cannot get authorisation because the key care start cannot approve this on their system was tge told to try using a surgeon which I did still to no avail was told to use network doctors who practice from network hospitals which I du still to no avail by the was all these practices and doctors I tried are doctors from the network list that I got from the discovery website after requesting for the specific procedure.... Now to me this is all a **** we r paying for things that are supposed to b coveres but in reality are not covered we are being ****med.. If this is how you run your business discovery I don't want to be part of it....
