The most useless medical aid. I'm on the Classic Smart plan. My child is sick I rush him to the the Network jospital only for them to tell me that my plan is a hospital plan when I definitely know its not. Then to make matters worse they call discovery and they say my plan is frozen however I paid my medical aid installment before the allotted period.

Worse yet I'm meant to have cover for OTC medicine up to a certain value however they always make me pay even when the benefit is in place. I call discovery and they tell me my plan doesnt have OTC benefits however in their damn brochure which I used to pick them it clearly states that yet they take R3500 of my funds every month only for them not to help me. They can't even pay for a prescribed nasal spray for my son and there is meant to be benefits for prescriptions from Dr's. When I ask for a list of covered medicine yet they can't even provide it. The idiot consultants don't even know that the plan has cover they tell me its a hospital plan when the brochure clearly states its not.
