Prior to the treatment being received, we advised that Sunward Park Hospital was not a designated service provider for Mr Macdonald's selected plan type. We did advise that the non-network penalty, of R6450.00, would be for the member's own liability.<br> The clinical information was reviewed by our Medical Review Team. The request to waiver the deductible was declined as there are other Delta Hospitals who had cath labs and specialized cardiologists available. <br> We understand that this feedback does not meet your expectations, but we trust that the above has provided clarity.
