Melomed and Discovery

I was admitted to Melomed Tokai provate hospital on Monday 27.05.2024 for severe vommiting. Dr Arriff booked me for a G Scope but the hospital could not do the procedure because there was a copayment that I needed to make. I got discharged after 4 days with all the symptoms that I went in with because the scope was not done because I did not have the copayment on hand. When I got home I immediately called Discovery Health and the consultant confirmed that the autoriation was given for the procedure and the copayment was supposed to be deducted from my Day to Day Medical Savings Account because I still have enough funds. I called Melomed back and spoke to my case manager to advise of this information, they did not even want to hear what I was explaining that my medical aid said that they must submit the copayment on my Day to Day MEdical Savings Account it will be paid in full. I'm now at home still sick as a dog, unable to eat as I cannnot stomach anything it comes back out. Between Discovery Health and Melomed Tokai. The hospital wants the co payment in cash, the Medical aid is willing to pay for the copayment but the hospital won't submit that claim.
