Medication funding issue for life threatening condition.

Funding for blood thinning medication was approved in January but only up to the scheme rate. The specialist wrote a motivation for full funding and I submitted the request. Now Discovery got back and once again stating that funding has been approved but only for a specific brand and only up to the scheme rate. So after their latest decision I am worst off than before. This specific medication however will be costing me more than the generic despite the payment from Discovery up to scheme rate. I have queried this decision and requested feedback on the request for full funding, no response from Discovery.
