Medical Scheme shadiness ... in general.

I'd just like to post here about Discovery but also about private health insurance in general. I wasn't aware of the existence of Prescribed Minimum Benefits until recently. I've just begun my 'journey' (I hope it's short) of applying for my PMB via my psychologist. Mental health - as I suspected - is not generally taken seriously. My PMB application was rejected. I was a bit surprised as my doctor seemed quite confident that I would be successful with this application. On to my PMB appeal form I suppose. I'd just like to leave a link to an article on knowing your rights when it comes to PMB's. Very informative with a download to a list of the 270 conditions that should be covered - unfortunately it's from 2015 so not sure how up to date the list is. I know it seems next to impossible to get this list out of your private insurer even though you have a legal right to access to it.
