Medical refuse to pay for my Chronic medication

I have a problem, I am discovery medical aid member from 2016. Last year in October was diagnosed for chronic heart disease my heart was failing functioning by 5%. The doctor prescribed a medication that is making a huge difference in my health but medical aid doesn't want to pay for medication. My medication cost R2100 monthly, they only pay 40% and I have to pay 60% and its a permanent treatment. I cant afford this money as my income is very low as I am a receptionist. I find my self swimming in debts coz I have to borrow money to pay for my medication sometimes. At work medical is compulsory for all the employees. My doctor tried to convince the medical aid and send them my medical record but still they refused. Please assist.
