Medical query

: I joined discovery medical in July. Sometime in October i went to see gynecologist who examined and booked me for an operation. The medical aid did not want to authorise the operation. They actually cancelled the current medical aid and sent me new application forms for the new medical aid number. They claimed that I did not disclose the fact that i have gynecological problem. I was very surprised because i could not tell that my back pain was as a result of what the doctor diagnosed. Besides, the amount i was paying was way to high and they say it is the penalty for not having a medical aid when i was not working. Very surprised. I have now received a new medical aid and the waiting period for me to use it is 12 months. So, I will be paying for the medical aid I can not use for the next 12 month while am suffering from this severe pain. I actually have to postpone my pain while they take money from me. I can hardly buy even a pain ****er while I am waiting to die. I am desperate. Please help.
