medical put on hold without being informed
My husband called in Jan 2015 to notify discovery that he is no longer employed so discovery now needs to deduct our monthly contributions from his personal account. He was then notified that the company that he was employed with will sort out payments for end of Jan. My son is at the doctor now and im told that my medical aid is on hold. I phone discovery and the call center agent knows nothing about his call made in jan. Why did discovery not have the decency to notify us that the account is on hold??? What if it was an emergency case?????<br> It is also now 1hour since i last spoke to the keycare consultant and i am still waiting for the keycare form that she said she would send through to me????<br> Whats up with this terrible service??????<br> If you guys want me to find another medical aid, please feeel free to let me know.<br>

When a membership is part of an employer group all financial changes can only be requested by the employer. Your husband contacted us on 29/01/2015 and we confirmed that the membership is active and the correct process to have the membership transferred to his private capacity. We received communication from your husband's employer on 10/02/2015 to withdraw the membership. We withdrew the membership as requested. The membership was then put into a conservation state so that we may contact the policy holder to discuss their options of continuing the membership under private capacity. I confirmed that we are awaiting documentation to assist you further with your query.
