Medical emergency not covered by Discovery

I recently had an medical emergency when I fell from my roof. I could not move and hence my wife could not take me to hospital. So we called the ambulance which took us to Netcare Greenacres' ER. I was attended to and X-Rays was taken. My wrist was broken and my groin badly injured. Later that afternoon the ER Dr thought it good to discharge me. I was still in pain but the painkillers helped so I made my way home. Still struggling badly to walk and my wife had to do everything she could short of carrying me. In the days to come I received notifications of payments being made from my medical savings account. A week later my bill is already on ~ R 6000 and all was paid from my savings account. Discovery did not pay one cent from my medical aid benefits. Why do I bother having a medical aid if they are not even going to cover me when I have an emergency. <br> Pathetic!!!
