Medical Aid scheme not benefiting clients on lower plans

I have been with Discovery for 7 years now and I've had 2 incidents where I've had to pay Doctors from my own pocket because they charged out of the "Discovery rate".

Now... With my latest incident, it was an emergency and it was after hours so obviously the Doctor will charge more than the normal rate he charges if it was an emergency during normal working hours. My problem is that Discovery still insists on the same "Discovery Rate" fee regardless of when the consultation was done. I mean, I would be satisfied if Discovery had 2 different rates for normal hours and after hour emergency consultations considering the fact that Doctors charge different rates for different hours of the day. A whole R452.30 is what I will not be getting from Discovery!

This is nonsense really!
