Medical aid in shambles

Last year my chronic was R710, in 2024 the doctor changed the script as per medical reasons the new script is R800. Unfortunately it is too expensive as per PMB, I had to pay R580 co payment as they are only paying R200 what a joke.Since 2012 I was not hospitalized or confined to home nursing, where does my money go to if it can’t fully pay my chronic script of which it only increased by R100 a small pittance from their premium increase. Sort this out, doctor is also frustrated of having to fill in motivational forms and furnish pathology results. What a mess.
