Medical Aid Grieviences

It is with great disappointment and utter disgust that I need to inform you that the service to date received from Discovery was totally unacceptable and totally unfair.<br> Thus-far I've been struggling and battling to get assistance from them to sort out this mess with outstanding claims from Patchcare and specialists consultation which they insist that I need to pay for.<br> The 3 Parties involved have been contacting me constantly and it's becoming harassing at this stage.<br> The scenario is as follow:<br> I've been referred by my GP to the respective specialist for further consultation for an unidentified condition that I needed further analysis for, the process was followed by the book and my appointment was approved with the DR involved. Since then I had surgery and needed out of hospital cover which was approved as seen in the attached details, problem is that the Doctor who was approved has since retired and has referred me to a follow up Specialist, I was never informed by Discovery that I will need approval from them for each and every process and procedure I need to go for, yet now I'm stuck with a new doctor who has started consultation who is waiting for his money liable to me???
