Medical Aid companies are purely money making pyramid schemes, nothing more!!!!!!

So my wife and i have chronic illnesses, if you take a medical aid you are refused assistance for that illness for 12 months.

The only reason i was not on a medical aid was due to the fact that from January till August i was without a paycheck, having a medical aid was out of reach. Now to pay in excess of R6 000 + pm and not being able to get medical assistance if you get ill is ********* and pointless. Medical aid companies should rethink there strategies in this regard.
