Medical aid but like a Hospital plan

I pay a monthly premium for medical aid. We tried not to go to the dr's / dentists last year because Discovery does not pay the bill or medicine in full. I previously was with another service provider and never experienced this lack of payments. I had a problem with my teeth as 2 broke during November 2015. To my surprise Discovery did not paid the bill of R904.20 while I pay more than R37 000 per year. We weren't in Hospital for more than 10 years, no operations, and now we must pay our own dentist bill. What we need to know is: Is Discovery a Hospital plan these days, and if they pay medical expenses, what is it what they pay??? We cannot afford paying > R37 000 per year just to provide them of a income stream? We need medical aid, and they surely are not willing to provide this service. Isn't it better then to only have a Hospital plan and pay as it will be cheaper, because we already have to pay ALL our other medical expenses. I was advised to switch from Resolution to Discovery, and this was a very BIG MISTAKE as I never experienced this unwillingness to pay bills!!!!
