Lying un human dishonest Medical aid putting unborn children's lives in danger due to inhuman unclear rules and regulation

I would like to start my complaint by saying the following To be on Discovery's Key Care Plus is no better than just than to rather just be without a medical aid at all because the Government will give you more benefits than this **** medical aid could ever give you as a patient and this is why I say this. * When this medical aid was sold to us it was said that we would get all our medicine at no extra charge as long as we use there preferred network Dr's and Specialist and Hospitals ****rue statement) * Secondly it was said that if you end up in hospital as long as its one of there Network hospitals there will be no shortfalls and no money to be paid ****rue statement) *Then it was also said that if you register on there maternity program when pregnant everything will be covered and paid for as long as you go to there Network hospitals and there specialists ( yet again untrue statement ) so my statement is as follows I found out that I am pregnant last year 26th of june 2018 went to the Dr for blood test it was positive and immediately registered on the maternity program I was 7 weeks pregnant and I collapsed and had Seizures ( Im not a known epileptic ) It was due to my pregnancy at the hospital I was informed that if I dont get admitted I will have to pay a fee to the emergency room luckily I was admitted to hospital for observation for 2 days I was not tested to see what was the causes or if it might happen again. The Gyanicologist did a sonar and a blood tests and to my surprice they took it out of my maternity specialist cover . So the rest of my pregnancy went on without to much problems . Then my step daughter went to the Dr ( a network Dr ) she had upper airway infection and all of a sudden I had to pay for the meds . So then the Gyanea did a sonar and my Dr told me that the baby is brich(33 week check up ) and two weeks later on my 35 week check up baby was still brich and on my 38 week check up the Dr didnt even do a sonar because for us to get a sonar it would cost us R1800 as all my sonars is used up and all our specailist benifits has been depleted this is the begining of Feb and no specialists benifits available anymore so much for a maternity program . we was then also told by the Dr that no matter on what Discovery plan you are even if we do a sonar they will not approve a c section until Im in labour and it ends up being a emergancy C section . so I started going into labour on saterday 16th Feb I went to the hospital and was admitted on Sunday they started to enduce labour not doing a sonar because I didnt have any sonars available (so no idee if baby is still brich or not ) Sunday night I went into active labour and 20:02 my baby was born with respitory failure and after 5 to 10 min of cpr my baby was breathing again . the next morning I had 3 seizer in the hospital again so after blood transfusions and everything I got discharged today 21 Feb 2019 so I get my prescription for my going home meds and to my surprice the hospital pharm does not except Discovery at all (no matter what plan) so we went to Pick and Pay Pharm and they tell us that out of the R1300 prescription Discovery will pay for R0.00 ( yes nothing ) so then we phone Discovery and they tell us they are sorry there is some meds that they dont cover so I said to them out of a prescription of 8 things you dont cover anything all maternity relaited . I then tried the Discovery medical despencing app and they also cover nothing on that one and not just that they are also R400 more expensive .... so now I pay almost R2000 a month for 2 people to be on a medical aid thats prepaired to send you to a Dr and so that he can tell you whats wrong with you but not give you meds to make you feel better and then when you get to hospital eventually they will make you feel beter so that you can go home but with no meds to make sure that you will get 100% healthy again ... so in a nutshell this medical aid only offers you a fairly nice waiting room to sit in and a fairly nice hospital bed to sleep in further more they leave you to your own dimize and dont care to make you healthy again ..... and I dont even know yet how much my shortfalls are going to be for me being in hospital for 6 days and with my son being in ICU sofar for 5 days and no idee of how long he is still going to be there .... Currently Im holding Discovery laible for where my child ended up because if they were more honest and open about there cover I firstly would not have taken this cover and secondly I would most probably woudnt have signed up with Discovery at all
