Lying consultants

Last year I was working for Outsurance. When I started working there I consultant with one of the broker from psg konsult with regards to which medical aid option is best suited to my needs. I explicitly told the broker that I need a medical aid that will pay for my girls pregnancy and child birth. I was told that I can take the key care option because it will cover network hospitals in the event of planned procedures and that I would also be covered for out of network hospitals in the event of an emergency. It so happened that I had an emergency be caused my child was born prematurely due to her mother having an ovarian cyst which started bleeding internally and thus force the doctor to take out the baby before the appointed time. Discovery never paid for the procedure because it was out of network. I have sent countless emails regarding this matter but I am never assisted. I’ve been on their website as well and have received no feedback. Today I called them and the consultant I spoke to pretended like she could not hear me then promptly hung up on me. I am therefore proceeding with lodging a complaint with the council of medical aid schemes since discovery does not seem interested in assisting me. I find it revolting that they call you immediately when you go on their site looking for cover but once you are a client they don’t seem to care about you!
