Limping from bad to worst

My wife died in October 2024. Despite informing Discovery Health they continued taking premiums for her until January.

I moved my mother (82) onto my plan effective January but Discovery failed to action this change and debited her account in January. My broker managed to get the change done, but to preserve her LIFE mum needed chronic medication and blood tests.

Discovery Health has now "backdated" her move to January 1st as instructed in December, but is refusing to refund the R7000+ they debited her account incorrectly AND has suspended my plan for a short-payment of R2227. They have also created a clawback for medication etc in January they paid from the cancelled plan - however the clawback plus what they're insisting is outstanding for January is still LESS than what they owe me in the incorrectly debited premium for my mum's plan.

I need to collect insulin, and other chronic medication for myself.

Our plan remains suspended.

This is disgusting service. Actually, it gives disgusting service a bad name. Trying to speak to a human being is all but impossible since some ******** manager decided computers are cheaper.

These days voetstoots has been replaced with voetsek.
